or that one time the cia did psychic tests on elementary schoolers for fun or whatever

so first of all take everything i say here with a grain of salt. this is a conspiracy theory that originated on 4chan (and if you do your own research, it shows) and also i might be psychotic. that being said, i enjoy learning about conspiracy theories in general, except this one i whole heartedly believe because i was fucking there. they did that shit.

were you ever in a gifted and talented program as a kid? in elementary school around the 90s-00s? was it..... weird? do you remember anything? try to remember anything you can about it before you continue reading, get ahead of the confirmation bias if you can. and if none of that applies to you, i think it's still interesting ! because what the fuck.

to the right is a list of characteristics that are found to be common amongst people that were in the gate program. i've slightly edited it, mostly to de-4chan-ify it a bit, since it was originally posted there. honestly, my own theory is a good few of these sound like they could just be associated with autism/neurodivergency, and i believe that had a factor in who they chose to be in these classes, whether intentionally or not.

personally, i have almost all of these, even the incredibly specific ones, like the fact that the first girl i ever had a crush on was an artist that lived in israel. and i've had far too many experiences where i 100% should have been arrested and wasn't, which i won't detail here for obvious reasons lol.

as for the actual classes, what's generally agreed on that people remember is that you would be pulled out of your normal classroom, and taken to a different room to do other activities. usually, the room would have all the windows covered and be dimly lit, or sometimes would even be outside in a trailer. i personally experienced both of these in different schools, but i believe the trailers were a lot less common, usually it would just be a different classroom. the weirder things people collectively remember doing in these classes are doing zener card tests (or generally having to guess a picture without seeing it), hearing tests or listening to weird frequencies (especially with those big old school bulky headsets, even into the 2000s when smaller headphones were more common), and having to drink an unknown liquid from a dixie cup, a lot of people remember it being pink and almost banana flavored. as for normal school activities, i definitely remember also doing pretty normal worksheets and packets and stuff, but some people have talked about there being really consistent, seemingly random, subjects throughout them. the ones i personally remember that other people have also said they did were facts about whales and johnny appleseed. which seems normal but like why did i have to learn about johnny appleseed outside of the school building in a trailer with all the windows covered? #justnormalthings

so is any of that started to sound maybe vaguely familiar? if so, cool! listen to this and see how you feel :)

any thoughts? feelings? cool ! also, check out the comments on the original video
this page is a wip!! i will be adding on to it at some point, but if this interested you and you want to learn more, i suggest looking into project stargate, learning more about the gateway tapes, and looking into tavistock. this site has some useful links.
